BIRTH PARENTS

Most birth parents are between the ages of 15 and 40. They are individuals who are just like you and me. Our birth parents are faced with the most difficult decision they will ever make in their lives simply because they are unable to parent a child at that time. The reasons vary, but the most common denominator among birth parents is they are making the most unselfish decision of their lives, wanting the very best for their unborn child.

It’s important to recognize that no matter what your final plan is for you and your baby, it will take time for you to adapt your life. You will have experienced many different thoughts and feelings (sometimes the same ones over and over again) about what to do. Perhaps the most difficult of all will be allowing yourself to be uncertain for awhile. But within a few weeks after delivery, your direction will become clear and you will finalize your plans. Whatever the outcome, your life will never be the same. It is our hope that through all the pain and uncertainty, you will have learned you can count on someone to be there for you, to help you do what needs to be done and to make it through life believing in yourself.
